Is there that great of a disparity between home and road teams that YSU gets a team 98 spots lower and CSU gets a team 109 spots higher?

You have to consider that ESPN very likely gives zero consideration to Pomeroy rankings, but probably decent consideration to RPI where Cleveland State (191) and Western Illinois (133) are decently close.
Looks like geography had a lot of input on this year’s non-tv matchups too, so that results in some strange ones.
